About

Hello, my name is Emma, welcome to my creative flowery blog!
A place for likeminded individuals with a passion for flowers.

A little about me...
I own A Bunch Of Wild and I grow and sell flowers from my home studio, through shops and at a farmers market. I also help florists, floristry students and people wanting a career with flowers.

I came to floristry later in life after an extremely bad case of rsi from working as a hairdresser for years. My hobby of gardening and flowers soon became my new career.
I studied one-to-one with The Cambridge Flower School. Then my husband and I did a flower farming course at Green & Gorgeous in Oxfordshire.

I learned early on what type of florist I was, seasonal! Being a gardener at heart gave me a appreciation for British grown flowers and that’s where I made my mark.
Over the years I have done events and weddings big and small, styled and shot for brands, sold flowers from my garden gate, on the street and had a shop for a brief while. I’ve pretty much seen and done most of it!

As a former hairdressing lecturer it seemed natural to start teaching my skills in working as a florist and flower grower.
After all, I was getting asked so many questions on ‘how I do it’
Hence the creation of this blog!

I’ve chosen an old blogging platform, its free which means I can pass on my knowledge to you for free too.
I shall use it a little like a journal, passing on my experiences and hopefully guiding you through a very competitive industry.
I hope it helps and inspires you and if so please leave me comments on the posts or share with people you think may benefit from it.

Emma x
